Cricketer Mohammad Siraj has officially taken charge as Deputy Superintendent of Police in Telangana Director General of Police. The decision comes after Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that Mohammad Siraj will be given the prestigious Group-I government post. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had said that Mohammed Siraj, who was part of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup, would be given a government job. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy aims to support sportspersons to nurture future talent. Apart from this, the Telangana Government has also allotted 12 cents of land at Road No. 78, Jubilee Hills to Mohammed Siraj. Mohammed Siraj, born on March 13, 1994 in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a right-arm fast bowler. Mohammad Siraj's father is an auto rickshaw driver. Siraj started playing club cricket at the age of 19. He plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was instrumental in India's Asia Cup win. He took 6 wickets in the final and won the man of the match award.
